Benefits of the Scheme
About 27.77 lakh families are benefited from the Assam Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme. Every month on the tenth, each recipient receives Rs. 1250 via Direct Benefit Transfer.
The money is dispersed as follows:
- Rs. 400 towards healthcare costs
- For every four kilograms of sugar, a 50% subsidy costs Rs. 200.
- Fruits and veggies cost Rs. 150.
- 170 rupees for necessities
- Indira Miri Sarbojanin Biswa Pension Achoni and Deen Dayal Divyangjan Achoni each received Rs. 250.
- A family that is enrolled in both schemes will receive 250 rupees per month, out of a total of 1250.
